Our Direct Cremation Package

In recent years, we’ve noticed a significant shift of families choosing cremation over traditional burial services. Honestly, more and more people are now asking for simpler, more straightforward and less expensive alternatives to traditional funerals. The vast majority of people now want more information on cremation. In fact, many folks aren’t even interested in the basic cremation services that funeral homes have provided for years. They want Simple or Direct Cremation packages. These days it’s common to answer phone calls from people who just want the bare minimum, no visitation, no funeral, just cremation. 

To this point, our sister funeral home, Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory with locations in Indiana and Clymer, installed a human crematory in January 2017 at the location in Indiana.  Today, that same crematory is also used by Evergreen Cremations, Inc. While we’re committed to keeping our cremation costs and services, affordable, simple and dignified. Our professional staff, comprised of certified cremation operators, funeral directors, funeral interns and support drivers will assure that your family will receive the highest level of care.

Basic Services of Funeral Director & Staff

Transfer of Remains from a Nursing Home or Hospital within 30 miles of Indiana, PA

Refrigeration of deceased for 2 days

ID Viewing by FaceTime or Photo

Cremation 

Basic Temporary Plastic Container

Placement of Obituary in local newspapers and online (Obituary written by family) 

Notification of Social Security

Filing of Veterans Benefits (when applicable)
